Runners info for Thursday the 11th of August.
Welcome to week two of August! This week we will be meeting at Bottle Lake Forest!
Please meet at the car park off Waitikiri Drive. Briefing will be at 6:10pm, run starts at 6:15pm. Follow this link for the meeting point: click here
When we meet at locations other than Bowenvale Valley, Victoria Park and Hansen Park, there is one big group with two coaches. This week the coaches are Steve and Savanah. This run will be cruiser style; approximately 70minutes covering a distance of around 8.5kms. Bottle Lake Forest is a good location for an introduction to our group running with minimal elevation, so bring some friends! Coaches will stop regularly to re-group. No one will be left behind.
Gear requirements: appropriate running shoes (Bottle Lake can be ok for both road and trail shoes, it will be muddy), fully charged head torch, weather appropriate clothing, if you need to bring extra layers, water or medication please do so. Please let your coach know if you have a medical condition.
